After months of planning, this weekend we arrived at the Handmade fair in the green at Hampton Court Palace. For those who have never heard of the handmade fair before, where have you been? You have been seriously missing out. It is the best day out for all your crafty needs. The fair has every craft you could think of all under one tent – well actually two or three but you get the gist. You can visit for just the day or if you are a hardcore crafter you could make a weekend of it.There are many different workshops held hourly in various tents, held by different crafty experts. From calligraphy to crochet, to basket weaving to up-cycling furniture. It’s all going on! Happy Fabric was based in the East shopping tent where we had a fabulous colourful stand featuring all of our best work, hoping to inspire the wonderful crafters passing by. We spent every second of the day interacting with old and new friends, showing them how they can use our heat transfer vinyl and how to use the Happy Press 3 to fuse it onto fabrics. Everybody was amazing by just how quick and easy it really was. We was also lucky enough to meet the main lady her self Kirstie Allsopp and the lovely tilly from tilly and the buttons.
We had so much interest in our starter packs which included blank project and included pre-cut designs ready for you to use within your own project. We can’t wait to see how everybody uses the vinyl’s in all the different projects that we have been told about.
We absolutely loved meeting everybody and expanding our Happy Fabric family to all the new crafters we met. I hope you will stay in contact with us, as we love to know what craft projects you are currently creating. We also love to share your ideas to help inspire others on our facebook and instagram pages.
